All,

Just wanted to do you all the favor, and tell you to stay away from Bavarian Specialties in King of Prussia, PA. They have cost me over 600 dollars in repairs (done by another shop) from their incompetence in BMW repair.

I had a situation where my tensioner pulleys were severely cracked, and had over 1/2 inch play in them. They failed to notice this in three different instances where they were told about my belt problems. This took a mechanic's aid at a gas station about 5 minutes to deduce!

They consistently treated me in a hurried and unprofessional manner. They said that my scheduled repairs were "them doing me a favor". They also claimed to fix my belt throwing problem on 3 different occasions.

After thousands of dollars spent on repairs etc. through their shop, they told me that "they didn't care about my recent car problems, and that Dougherty's fixes BMWs...go there"

The horrible technical expertise, neglicence, combined w/ the complete and unfounded disrespect for the customer has led me to make this recommendation that fellow enthusiasts stay away from this shop.

Respectfully,

Steve M
