: how do you guys adjust your mirrors for track events? I have always wondered if there was an optimal position.

I was taught to adjust them wide so that you have to lean slightly to see the edge of the car. From a neutral driving position, you cannot see either side of your car. This virtually eliminates blind spots for me. By the time a passing vehicle starts to leave my mirror view, I can see it with my peripheral vision. I use this setting for street and freeway driving as well. This was recommended at a drivers school I attended with BMWCCA LA chapter.

The good thing is that this is easy to try for yourself to see if you like it. Good Luck.
