: You can check the tension and adjust it by the adjusting bar at the alternator. Make sure to loosen it using the back part,with the front staying flush sith the bar. The front is spurred and will chew the bar up, and make it un-usable. Ask me how I know:) The other belts have a tensioner, this one takes a little more to tension but shouldnt give you a problem. Pretty straightforward.

check your alternator bushings. If they are bad, your alt. will flex and scew to one side.
