Congrats on your purchase! If you want to get the max performance out of the car modify the driver first. Join the BWMCCA and go to as many driving schools as you can. Unless you are an very experienced race driver this car has limits WELL beyond the average driver. I had no clue to how much I didn't know about driving my M3 to it's limits until I got on the track. The only modifications I have done to mine are a front strut brace and a bigger oil pan baffle. I have heard that after extended hard driving (track, autox) the front strut tower welds can fatigue and crack, a problem the strut brace will help. And the baffle is essential if you are doing any track events. Many a S14 has met its maker due to oil stavation in long right hand sweepers. It's a great car that I'm sure you'll love. If you have any specific questions fire away. There's a ton of knowledge on this board.
