: Nope, but I was recently in my local BMW dealership in my home town Plymouth and they had a BMW car club magazine there with the dates\places of their forthcoming events so you could try your local dealership - JUST TO READ THE MAG if they have it- he heh e.

: I know there is an ///M day on September 6th at Castle Coombe(down South again - sorry).

: You could try seeking out the websites for any local tracks near you - they might list future events there, or even try the uk bmw club website(dont know the URL).

: Or, you could move down South 8-). Well, at least there are even fewer M3`s up there than down here 8-). The only time I have seen another e30M3 since owning mine was at the track day! It was good looking in the rear view mirror and seeing 2 other M3`s following me to the circuit 8-).
: Oh, I was down in my home town last week(a common tourist spot) and had two groups of 10 German tourists checking the good old M3 out. I guess Germans appreciate them a lot. Most people have a little look, but boy these guys and gals were having a real look around.

: 8-)

: Hope your Evo II is going well.

: Darren

: : : Anyone here attend the BMW car club track day at Castle Coombe last week?

: : : I was travelling past that way before going on holiday for a week, and dropped in to the event for a good few hours. I didn`t take to the track which was partly due to my late arrival, and not being a car club member so would of had to pay more(not much though) AND my rear pads needed replacing soon.

: : : Anyway it was good looking round the cars parked up too. Got chatting to two M3 owner dudes - one had a 1988 Evo2 with about 17,000 km on it - WOW, I thought my 40k km was low.

: : : There were loads of e30 M3`s on the track and there were some quick guys out there. A lemon yellow M3 was holding off a e36 M3 quite easily - the e36 couldn`t get closer than about 5 car lengths each time they passed by me. Also some good race prepped e30 325`s there - two were very impressive. A few e28 M5`s, and yes a great little Z3 M Roadster - that was very impressive too.

: : : Also, if the owner of the white M3 who passed a black one(me) on the M4 towards Bristol is reading - "hello". Yes, I did notice you but not until you had gone past 8-) - had my music a bit loud.

: : : Darren M

: : Darren do you know when the next BMW track day is and where? It's actually a bit of a pisser if you stay in Scotland as everything is held down south! Mind you it's probably because there is only about 3 m3's in Scotland!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
: : Stevie.

I may just do that! My dad is from down south he's from Salisbury. I was the only Scotish guy in the pub on Saturday cheering on England!! I think I may head down to Castle Coombe in July for the BMW track day, it's a fair old hike but I guess a weekend in a tent surounded by BMW's sounds ok to me! I may even meet up with you Darren and we could bore the tits off each other about M3's!!! I was in Plymouth about two years ago my wife and I caught a ferry from there to Santander and travelled around Spain and south France in a Corsa SRi ( shite car ) Evo 11 is going fine and just turned 91K.
