Beru plugs ??? (archive)

I know Beru was the OEM supplier of our expensive spark plug wires. I doubt my car had the original plugs in it when I bought it and they weren't Berus. Now I see these plugs on the market for BMWs (not sure of E30///M3 fittment) but they go for an outrageous $6 each... but claimed to make our cars run better. They're still single electrode. Anybody have any first hand experience with Beru plugs? Personally, working for a company formerly owned by Renault, I don't really trust any French automotive mechanical or electrical designs.
