I installed H&R springs and Bilstein shocks. I got the H&R springs first and noticed some "bouncey-ness" to the car going over small bumps, etc. As soon as the shocks were upgraded, it immediately went away. Your best bet is an H&R/ Bilstein combination, But first go with H&R springs. It is a very common and reliable combination in e36's and I love it on my e30.

: since I'm having my anti-roll bar/strut fixed hopefully tomorrow, should I splurge and order some springs and have those installed as well?
: what would happen with Eibach springs and stock shocks? would it be that terrible?
: I just can't afford both springs and shocks, but would like to lower the car since my mechanic will have the suspension
: apart soon.
: will .75 inch drop really affect the shocks?
: last question, will the car ride like those bouncy hondas? (you guys know what I'm talking about)
: thanks in Advance
