: 1. Timing chain,
2. Timing chain(Piston)tensioner
3. Plastic slide rail
4. Two guide rails
5. Valve cover gasket
6. Upper oil pan gasket
7. Left and right timing cover gaskets

Look to pay top dollar, there is an enormous amount of labor involved. The mechanic will definately charge at least 10 hours in lobor costs. Everything on the front side of the engine has to come off I hope you are an excelent mechanic with alot of tools if youre planning to do it your self. The crank bolt is 33mm if you want to try it. I got a quote from the "dealer" about two years ago of $1,200.

does anyone know what should be replaced when doing the timing chain, tensioners,,etc, and approx. how the much the parts cost. And what exactly should be replaced in regards to an intake manifold leak? I have heard things from o rings to venturies and the parts dept guys don't know a thing from the dealerships I have called. The idle doesn't fluctuate when I spray the detector on it but the car has 125K.
