:Straight in the middle is normal. Some cars fluctuate to three quarters while sitting in traffic on a hot day. This usualy means there is a problem with the Aux. cooling fan.


Just wondering what a "normal" position for the coolant gauge was. On a warm day mine runs at half-way when in stopped traffic, dropping down to a little past the first mark (after the blue zone) when moving.
