My problem is that I DO NOT have the original!!

When I bought the car it was already altered to a 4-2-1 system (flame the previous owner please!).

The exhaust shop that is going to carry out the job said they will use two independent pass-through 'mufflers' (or how they are called) instead of the 2-in-2-out original resonnator. I will ask them to install a cross member as well. At 1/6th the cost of a brand exhaust there is a strong incentive to follow their advice!

The components they are proposing to use are top quality though!
