: : : ok was board today and ran across this web page from the back of a magazine. they claim they can supercharge any car! what it basicly is a fan that you place in the air hose, and "SWIRLS" the air.
: : : some of the increase gains are pretty far out there.
: : : one guys says that his 1997 dodge stratus went from 168hp to 225hp +60hp! <---yah right!

: : : what do you guys think? it's only $80, worth a try?
: : : heard anything bad about this unit?
: : : thanks
: : : Eric
: : : 88M3

: : Eric.....

: : I have a supercharger on my 88 M3, and believe me it was alot more than the $80. Anything worth while will have to run off the crank.

: How much bhp/torque is your car producing with the supercharger and how much has it improved the performance?

: Thanks

John....
Never put the car on the dyno, but the conversion is a Konieg (sp?) special. They clain it is up to ~ 280 bhp, not sure on the torque figure, can look it up if you like. I've tracked the car twice and it can keep up with modified 944 turbos and most 911's. Used a friends G-tek and got 5.3sec 0-60 just messing around. On the highway 140kph to 200kph happens real fast. She's alot of fun to drive, but still not sure if the money was wisely spent?!?!?!
