: Sean,

: I also thought about a turbo S14 for my E30 M3. Where do you plan to get one? No one I have talked to has one. Do you plan to get custom lower compression pistons and do a custom turbo?

I've seen a turbo S14 by Dinan. Dinan does some nice work, or his staff does. :-) Price of the kit itself was $14K plus some 60 hours of install labor.

Last weekend I saw the supercharger kit ERT makes. What a pile of crap. I hope it works well, but it looks like dog shit and they charge you $5K for it. They couldn't even design a bracket to hold the cruise control in place, instead they mount it onto the left strut. "Here's a drill boys, start-a-drillin'." Then there's a bracket that places the AFM behind the left headlight. It looked spray painted and maybe cost 5 bucks. They give you a small K&N filter that is placed of course right in the path of all the air coming off the radiator fan. Fan wash anyone? Not a very clean install.
