: Hey Ritter : Here is the lowdown on the wing. : I bought it about a year ago. It came primer...really light, about half the weight of the original one. : It was like it just came off the mold...meaning it was not smooth. : I took it to the body shop and they charged me $225 to paint the wing and to sand it down. : I had it set to the lowest position which is higher than the evo3 wing. : My top speed is limited to 126mph full trottle in 5th and going slightly downhill. : After that...i tried to remove the extension, so that it will be stock looking, and two of the 16 allen bolts that hold the extension was stuck...so i could not remove it. : I also pulled the whole wing off and one of the 4 bolts that hold the wing to the trunk was pushed in...so now i have only 3 bolts holding the wing in place. : Caution...because this is a fiberglass piece and looks flimsy...i guess if you get it, dont mess with any of the bolts. : Above all, i like it because you dont see them around, and it is cheap compared to the original evo3. : I dunno when i will be in Austin...i have been looking for a job there...with some of the high tech companies...so i may be down there sometime. : The bad thing is that my engine is dead, and i will be rebuilding it to a 2.5L spec. : I dont know how far you are from TWS, but next weekend, there will be a BMW club race, and my buddy...Jefrem will be racing his J-stock e30m3. : later : franklin
