We do chip cars over here and as far as I know our main supplier is a company called superchips(www.superchips.com I think). I personally wouldn`t use one unless the engine had been modified at least a bit because I can`t see how a remapped chip can improve a standard car much. If you`ve got the Evo airbox, different cam gear and camshaft with possibly a SS exhaust then yeah, I can see the point because the remapped chip will help everything to work togther better etc etc.

if so what type do you use? I personally don't use chips but I was just wondering.

Where was this data obtained from?
So a JC chip is miles better than a DINAN chip and cam sprocket job? At just before 5000 RPM the JC chip produces 19 lb/ft torque more than the DINAN chip and cam sprocket?

And Dinan chip and cam sprocket = 185 BHp @5500 compared to [email protected] for the JC chip - thats a big difference and I`d be surprised if the difference was that big? U sure this chart wasn`t produced by JC? he heh e

Just my 2 pennies worth.

Darren(in the UK and has never heard of those chips over here)

i think alot of you have been asking for this lately, and i cam across it, so here it is...this is the link to HP and torque curves of different chips.
