Hello all,

I am in the process of picking up parts for an Alpina like setup for my 2002 tii. I had planned on using 45mm TWM throttle bodies but then I remembered that M3 throttle bodies are 45mm slide throttles, which are really slick. How different are the intake sides of the M3 head and a 2002 head? Is there any way to easily fit the slide bodies onto a 02 or I am I looking at building a custom manifold? Any input is very helpful. Also does anyone know of a source of a set of these bodies?

Thanks,
Mike

um well i dont know where you got the info that the M3 throttle's are the slide type as they are NOT(standard butterfly type) . and the ports on a 2002 head and a M3 S14 are not even close, remember the S14 has two intake valves per cyl ,and the bolt pattern is totally different. if you were to try to make adapters the injector would spray right into the side of the port instead of down the intake throat as the M3 intake runners are at approx 60 deg ,whereas the 2002 runners are horizontal!
