Randy ... OEM brake rotors for the E30 M3, whether used with metallic pads or other material, are notorious for warping. After I bought my M3 in 88 and several thousand miles of use, the brake rotors warped. I had them turned and after about 4000 miles, they warped again. I replaced them with aftermarket rotors and they work just great. I use Balos from The Ultimate Garage. So far, 1 1/2 years of street driving, two seasons of autoxing, and 1 driver school on them with racing pads and they're perfectly fine. They're also called the Evo 3 rotors, not sure if that's accurate but go with Steve D'Gerolamo for brake parts and you won't regret it.
