The A/C on my 89 M3 hasn't worked for a couple of months, and my new mechanic said that it would cost $300 just to look at it, without doing any work on it, and it could cost $5000 to $6000 if it needs to be replaced. I think it's time for me to find a new mechanic. Any suggestions in the SF bay area?
