Well, I learned something. Reduces the unsprung weight huh? Verry interesting. And a nice side effect - but purportedly Swiss cheese Porsche rotors are so effective at cooling (read: maintaining the proper braking heat) that they do not require brake duct (ala M3 Evo) venting. In fact, M3 owners who have installed the Porsche big brakes on thier cars have had to actually plug up the brake ducts to improve braking performance. Great - I can put the OEM foglights back in!

...The main reason for drilling rotors is to reduce the unsprung weight... slotted rotors... actually have more surface area, and more metal to act as a heat sink...
