I would imagine removing the cat from the exhaust would cause her to spit flames when you shift.I want mine to do this!can any one recomend an exhaust that will do this? Thanks in advance-I love my bmw

i have an 88, and its NOT poorly maintained, and it does shoot flames, of course ive never seen it, just been told. my cats are hollow and my AFM spring is loosened up a little. i have seen it happen off throttle on turbo cars but on mine, i think, it happens on up shifts, when reving the car to redline when i shift quickly there is a pop and that is when the flame happens dont think it is bad, and i dont think i lost any torque with the cats removed
