Well, I'm finally seriously lokoing at an e30 m3 to call my own. I'm looking for some input as to some of the issues the car that I'm looking at is having. First is the idle. when you goose the throttle, or just come to a stop with in netural, the engine will idle lumpily for a few seconds before settling down. I assume that this is just an intake problem, though I thought would ask if there are any odd proclivities of the m3 that I should be aware of that could cause this. The other issue was that of the fron suspension. At speed in excess of 45-50 is has a fair amout of vibration in it. Also, it seems that the rear end is more eager to step out, or alternately plow, than it should be. I looked at the subframe, which appears to be sound (read: sans visible cracks) but don't know what else to fault for this behavior, or how much trouble it likely is. Thanks for the info.

fred
