Just some FYI for those of you who haven't heard about this: There is a big problem going around in the used car bizz of cars that have been wrecked getting recombined with other wrecked cars (front of a rear ended car with back of a front ended, etc.) and then resold as if they were original. They are referred to as "Cut and Shut" cars. Anyhow, the British Auto Authorities did crash testing on these welded-up cars and the dummies would have been FATALLY injured. They didn't give in the middle (due to weld strength) and the windshield tops folded inward. My point is that I would be hesitant to drive a repaired severely damaged car as it won't crumple in a crash as it was designed to. IMHO, this "T-boned" car is probably best left for parts. - Jeff
