Any stories out there about 2.5 liter conversions. I'm starting this project (88 e30M3) and am curious too hear experiences and recomendations. Turner seems to have quite a selection of kits....Any others?

It depends on what you're after... if you want to refresh your motor and get a few more ponies,
a 2.5L conversion is a good way to go. If you're looking to reproduce an exact copy of an EVO III
motor, it can be done, but the cost is considerably more. THe 2.5L conversion is a good reliable upgrade, but the purists will poo-poo it.
That's OK, you can leave them in your dust!
