Like most cars today the windshield on the e30M is an intergral part of the chasis. There is a right and a wrong way to have it replaced and from what I have read those "quick" repair services don't always do the job right. You really need to get it done at a well respected shop that will seal it with the propper sealants. And I also suggest that when you have it done that you don't drive the car in the first 24 hours so that the sealant can cure. Take your time and do your homework with this one because if you don't have it done right you can loose some of the cars stiffness. Good Luck

I need a new windshield since the heat in fresno has made the crack I got a couple of days ago much worse.

are the M3 windshields the same as other E30's?

how much are they?

I've heard that the are sealed differently, is this correct, tell me what is different.
thanks
Eric
