Like everyone else i also run in the 190-205 range using mobil one 15W-50. It only gets up to 205 or 210 on longer trips on the NJ turnpike doing 80-90mph for an hour or more. I think near 200 is the optimal temp anyway. At 212 the any moisture in the oil will evaporate. I dont think you have anything to worry about unless it gets over 220. Try using Mobil One 15-50 from now on. It stays a lot coller than natural oils.

Has anyone had problems with there oil cooler cloging
My 88 m3 oil temp started going up to about 210
My guess is the cooler clog, or weak oil pump

any thoughts or suggestions will help
