Before you go ripping out the center console you might want to check that the drain tube on the firewall isn't blocked. If you look on the passenger side firewall in the engine compartment you'll see something that looks kind of like an elephant trunk about 3" long. Pull it off and clean it out or carefully push a small screwdriver up from the bottom. That should solve your problem.

I have noticed that the passenger side footwell gets really wet(soaks rights through the floor mat) on occasion. After talking to mechanic, he said an a/c tube runs through there and could be broken or out of fitting. My question is, how do I go about removing the center console to get a look in there. Some of the plastic pieces seem really fragile. Is there a "best" order to getting in there...specifically the right side that I need. Any help in greatly appreciated.
