well I went to pep boys and bought some Extra high temp paint. turns out that you have to cure the paint at 650F for an hour or else it will peel off.

I of course realized this after spending 3 hours taking all the brake dust off the calipers! I'm going to return the paint tomorrow and try and find some stuff that doesn't need to be cured, otherwise I'm just going to screw the paint and put on the brakes.

do you guys know a better place to get engine temp paint?

I dunno if you're set on engine temp paint but the Folia Tec caliper kit doesn't have to be cured and you can buy it through's store to support the site. :)
