Children, children, lets not throw a rod over this hybrid. To the E30 M purist it appears ridiculous to defile the car with a non M motor. Those in the know know this makes for a E36 M killer even in the 2.5 (M50) configuration on the track or street. Those in the hyper purist state can't imagine the torque and grunt of this configuration, but would assuredly be eating dust on or off the track in their S14 shod M. You boys and girls need to grow up and stop sniffing the glue. This board is for BMW enthusiast's, not just you M snobs, informed or otherwise. Please feel free to return to your silly talk of street racing and other adolescent distractions. Mommy will be calling you in for lunch soon...
