I just got a call from the ICBC (Insurance Corporation of British Columbia) and the adjustor said that there is approximately $7,000.00 worth of dammage that he is able to see. He also noted that there is some frame dammage and that is why the door alignment on one side is pushed in and the other is pulled out. We have decided to bring the car the Burrard Autostrasse and they will have a closer look at it and find any additional dammage (once they take the panels off). I feel the SH*TS, the car will never be the same again. On top of all this the insurance adjustor said they will only paint the sections that need to be changed. I've had this car judged in concourse shows (5th place in BC... with minimal work cleaning it up) and it was also at the Seattle concourse this year (display only)and I know that it will almost be impossible to get the paint to match up. How can they take into account 12 years of fading? This was the car for me, the one to be driven daily and babied! Oh well, I should wait until I hear from the autobody shop and see what they suggest. Will keep you all apprised as to how it turns out.

Pete - the world now has one less beautiful e30 m3
