get it fixed. there are two weep holes under the gasket and they are probably clogged or if the p.o. replaced the windshield, they gouged the metal in doing so. I had mine fixed, (got a new windshield also) It's a PITA, but there is only one proper way to do it - new sheet metal. As the other guy said, make sure you get a shop that knows these cars.

I have noticed when i lift up the rubber weather stripping around the bottom of the windshield, there is some bubbling paint and rust. What can i do to stop further rusting? and remove the bubbling?
