Can I ask, was it (or $$$$) to replace? I`m just wondering because the passenger side of mine has little scratches and I might get it replaced later. Its quite visible in sunshine. There are some on the drivers side too.
There aren`t any cracks in the glass so if its i`ll leave it.

I just had my cracked windshield replaced and the installer noticed some slight rusting around the lower corners. He primed it and then installed a new windshield. He said it might bubble in the future and then a body shop will need to repair it. Nothing very major unless you let it rot.

Was your windshield replaced before? Many jobs are done incorrectly and this can result in rusting around the windshield frame. Mine was done improperly the first time. You should have someone take it out, repair the rust, and install a new windshield (it will probably break when they remove it to repair the rust). Make sure you bring it to someone that knows how to install M3 windshields!

I have noticed when i lift up the rubber weather stripping around the bottom of the windshield, there is some bubbling paint and rust. What can i do to stop further rusting? and remove the bubbling?
TIA
