WHERE DOES THE OIL GO. PLEASE LET ME KNOW

Most high performance engines will burn a little oil during normal combustion.
I would say that 1 quart per 1000 miles is normal.
This may also be what the manufacturer claims...check the owners manual.
I know that some cars, like older 911s, the porsche factory claimed 1 qt. for 600 mi. but I think that is excessive. my 74 911 burnt about 1 qt. per 1000 mi.
i have a 91 m3 and i use maybe 1 qt. per 1000 mi. and i have 98,000 miles on the engine and it runs great.
