Last night car drove fine. Then this morning went out to my car and put my foot on the clutch which was at its normal height and bearly touched it and it slammed straight to the ground. After inspecting the pedal assembly for quite some time I was unable to find a spring to aid in the pedals return. But once the pedal goes all the way down if you just pull up on it to its normal height it will stay there. This is why I think it is just the spring. So does anybody know if there should be a spring or not. And if so where does it attach to the pedal and where else does it attach?
