Evo airbox v.s. Cone filter (archive)

Does anyone have an opinion one way or the other on Evo airbox kits v.s. cone filter kits? The Evo kits are less expensive and retain a more stock appearance, but the cone kits boast higher HP returns, especially when combined with a cold air delivery system of some sort.

I'd like to hear from folks that have had experience with both types of kits. Are there any real pros/cons to either, or is it more a preferrence issue?
