Never use Slick 50 or any other snake oil product/additive like this. These things leave teflon deposits in your engine that can block small passages. If this stuff was any good, all the major oil companies would offer it in their products.

Go with synthetic over coventional oil. It contains better properites to ensure longer engine life and you can change it at greater intervals. I usually change mine around 5,000 miles. Synthetic is superior...ask anyone.

Are E30 M3's better suited to run regular or synthetic oil? The guy I bought my car from said regular oil works best. Any thoughts?.... How about the use of slick 50 and Prolong, do they do any harm? What works well in conjunction with the S14 motor?
