What's the easiest way to get to the control box?
Thanks for the help.
My washer light stays on even when the fluid is full. Yes, I cleaned the sensor and even replaced it but I still continue to have the same problem. Where else can I look? Also, my coolant light will come on after a long drive on the highway but when I start it again, the light is out and I don't have a coolant leak. I know these sensors are related...perhaps a bad ground?
Does the test light function check out OK on the board??
Check to see if you have short in the control box.
If your antenna mount is loose, water might be getting in side of the headliner shorting or rusting the contacts in the box.
If you are referring to the sensor control box; I don't think it is servicable. You just gently pull it out of the headliner. You could use a small type screwdriver, but I prefer to use my finger nails and work my fingers behind the lip of the box and pull it out.
You can check the connectors on the box, clean them with WD 40 or an electrical contact cleaner. Check the bulb socket connectors. Clean and replace as necessary.
Don't assume that the blower going over the windshield is connected to the problem.
