I am just in the throws of acquiring a 1990 2.5 Sport Evo and wanted to know whether I could, should fit a set of BBS 17" or If poss I would like to go for he DTM look and fit 18"s. What sizes will fit and what offsets should I go for ?

PS any advise on tyre choices ?

I wouldn't go any further than a plus 2 setup which would be 17's. 17's are already big and decrease acceleration but at least you can run a variety of tire sizes including 235/40/17 all the way around. I'm sure those DTM cars have the taller arches of the Evo 3 or modified fenders allowing them to run 18's with wider tires than 215 or 225.

Rhanks for the reply, the Sport Evo is the EVO III and I know the front arches were specifically designed for 18's, I intend to go down on the profile to retain the gearing
