But 2 inches shorter means the screw down battery clamp won`t reach it to clamp the battery down. I put one in my car today while troubleshooting a problem and it was about 2 or more inches shorter than my current battery. I think you could clamp it down if you turn the base of the clamp around and just use one of the long parts of the clamp to hold it - but it might come loose. Vibrating batteries isn`t good and shortens the life of it.

Which battery fits our cars? I have an Interstate battery that has a 50 month warranty, seems like only 36 months on it. It's HUGE. It fits the entire length of the battery tray. Which Interstate batteries fit these cars? Don't they make one about 2 inches shorter?
