Yes, it's sad, but true. The rest of the world doesn't value our cars as much as we do. So if you could get $14k for your car if you were to sell it (before it got hit), getting $13k from the insurance company is a pretty damn good deal. Your time and effort is worth more than $1000 to chase down an apathetic and uncooperative insurance company. Sad to see the car totalled. Is there any way they'll pay to have the bodywork done? Are you going to buy the car back and have it fixed?

Just curious. Keep the updates coming....

Sad to say she is totaled. The floor pans were even kinked I got hit so hard. whatever, i didnt pay that much so if they are gonna pay me i will take it. They can keep it because I have no where to store and i dont even want it no more. I will go buy another one.
