I'm going to trade my chip in for the JC chip in the near future. I was worried that my car was going to collect dust in the garage while I waited for my new chip to arrive.... Then while sorting through some maint records from prior owner, found the original chip!! It's wrapped in a plastic bag along with Dinan papers and instructions. Can I simply pop it back in the car or do I need to clean it with something first? I'm edgy about handling these things, any advice will be helpful.

Clean it?? is it dirty or something? simply pop it back in. Make sure you discharge any static electricity before handling the electronics.
