The 027 (EVO and 535) AFM is physically identical to the 028 (stock) AFM including the size of the venturi. The difference is the calibration. Stock is calibated up to 450 CFM and the EVO is calibrated to 550 CFM. This means that
a 2.5L with 48mm TB and porting it is capable of pulling more air than the AFM can tell the ECU it is getting. If you have a stock head and stock throttle body the EVO AFM is a waste of money. Also be aware that the chip and injectors MUST change with the AFM or the mixture will be way off.
