sell the M3 to someone who can appreciate what it is( a real race car ) and buy the prelude. it's your money get what you want! just dont bastardise a beautiful piece of engenering. seriously, can you imagine an M3 with "R" stickers all over it, its kinda silly, if you really want, buy e36 m3 engine, trans, put that in if you really want to dump the old motor, its been done before and i think we all know those "go" pretty good too.
Hi everyone.

Hey, I have a 1988 E30 M3 that I recently purchased. A friend of mine has a Honda Prelude with the 2.2L VTEC motor and that thing really goes. I was wondering if I could modify my car to take out my motor and put the Honda VTEC engine into my car. I think it would make it more modern and not such an antique. Besides, there are so many aftermarket parts available for Honda motors, like turbos, superchargers, intakes, headers, etc. I would think that an E30 M3 with a modern VTEC motor would be such a better car.

What do you guys think??
