Unfortunetly my 1st M3 does not exist any more! It was 100% wrecked last year, even all 4 alloys were shattered. The car was number 11 made in Germany at the end of 1987. The first ten cars went straight to racing! And my baby was the first commercial model sold! At the time of the wreck in 99', it had 45,000 original miles. I bought the car in 1988, but I could not afford the insurance, and so the car sat in a private garage for 5 years. All I could do was visit it monthly to turn it on for 2 hours and then covering it again. I took it out in 94 and pampered it, only driving it on the weekends. It was crashed in a pile-up on a NYC highway, I saw the accident and was able to stop! BUT, the jerks in back of me drove full speed into the M3. What I still don't get today is, why do asswholes drive fast in rain that they can't see one foot in front of them?? Well, I currently have a 89 M3 with 35,000 miles. And NO, she never see's the rain! Be safe everyone!
