I just bought my 1988 M3 in August in Calgary. It was in PERFECT condition with RD wheels and PZeros plus the original stockers with snow tires (after all, this is snow country!). Basically stock with a few minor mods. And I paid C$17,500 which, my BMW mechanic/guru tells me, was a steal. After checking it he said, "Buy it"! Other BMW afficianados have told me they know the car well and it has been beautifully looked after.

So if this car in Vancouver has been up for sale for more than 2 hours there has to be something wrong with it. C$11 grand is too little. But take it to a reputable BMW mechanic (preferrably not the local dealer - there is always some german expert in town who has, himself, lusted after an M3 for years) and pay $100 and get it looked at carefully. You MIGHT end up with a great deal.
