Actually I don`t think it will be an Evo because if you go to link I have provided you will realise they were only made in 1987. However cars made from 1989 did come with the Evo II engine as standard which without a cat gives 220BHP. Your car is a 1990 so will have the EvoII engine.
I have bought an M3 from Germany and was told that it was an evolution, I am now not sure if it is !!!! Help
The chassis number is WBSAK05440AE41885, it's red and first registered 7/90
Thnaks in advance !
Thanks for the advise, I think you are right I believe the car I have put a deposit on is a late M3. I assume that it will therefore have no lightweight bits, glass, bumper supports, flywheel and no big front spoiler etc, etc. BUT does have the same engine bar the flywheel ?
Here's my dilema -
I have found a genuine 88 EVO II 2 owners, 85k kms in red with grey cloth, fitted with lowered springs a trut brace and 8 and 9 by 16 inch BBS split rims from new the price is about 25k DMS. It's accident free and sounds nice. The only slight detriment is a large BMW motorsport stripe sprayed on the bonnet and rear lid ?!
The other car is red full black leather including door cards, 1 owner 107k kms, lots of bits - F and R alloy strut brace full stainless exhaust, 8.5 and 9 by 17 alloys BBS on the car with a second set of MK alloys, Full BMW service history from one dealer. AC schintzer suspension and roll bars. HE is calling it an EVO II, but I can't see how it can be ! it was first registered in 1990. It also ahsa sunroof and I would prefer the rigidity of one without, this car is also 25k DMS
Which one would you go for !!!!
PS I will try to attach a piccie but I am not sure how !
I don't think I can manage the piccie - sorry
