I've noticed water stains in the glove box, but no saturation at the moment. The carpet in front of
the drivers seat is damp as well. I just seam to have a gut instinct that there is water in some
system somewhere causing a short. But hey, Iím only 18, I could be wrong.
Also, he wants to take it to the mechanic, but I donít trust any of them where I live. (Last
mechanic I went to didnít realize that it was an M3 UNTIL he opened the hood and saw the
ďBMW M POWERĒ on the valve cover. And they say he is the best BMW mechanic in the area
also) so could the car survive a trip to LA to get repaired there? I donít want to ruin the car by
driving it, but I donít want to have shady mechanics working on my car. Itís a catch 22!
Everyone please read and put in your inputs, I want to drive my car again!
Thanks in Advance
Have you treid looking at the rubber manifolds, these can sometimes leak and allow un-metered air into the engine. This means the car will run erratically and lean (the engine management system does not really know how much air the engine is breathing). If it's quicker with the chip, don't listen to your dad, who cares about emmissions !?
