when the engine is running with the coolant cap off you should see a stream of coolant flowing from the neck of the coolant bottle, that is the way you check to see if you have all the air bubbles out of the system. If that does not help then it might be your radiator cap. There is a updated radiator cap for the car also if it has not been done yet you may want to check it. some times after replacing your radiator it takes awhile for the air to purge from the engine, and may take a few attempts to get all the air out of the system.
Hope this helps a lttle.
My 86 m3 keeps losing coolant via the overflowhose. There doesn't seem to be a gesketproblem for there is no CO in the coolantwater. Put in a new radiator and the head that closes the cooaltnsystem (excuse my dutch-english). Someone told me there might be a airbubble in the coolingsystem, causing local overhating?
