Now, if any drag strip disposed M3 owner out there suddenly sees the light (no pun) and wants to dump their car quick... I'm waiting, cheque in hand, willing to help undo the error of your ways. I'll give your E30 the home it deserves, in Solo I and maybe, someday, in JP racing.

Hey all, I just go back from the drag strip at Englishtown. Not much of a drag racer, but i wanted to set some base times for the car as i have it now. The car has a borla exhaust, nology wires, and JC chip. Best 60 foot on street tires i got was 2.2XX and passed the traps in 15.12 @ 92 mph. Next, i dropped the tire pressure to about 28psi in the rear, and took out my spare tire. Wheel hopped too much, got a 2.3XX 60', and passed at 15.049 at 97.22mph. Talked to some drag racers there, and listening to them, i put my tires at 33psi rear, and spun a little on the launch, 2.3xx passing at 15.043 @92.xx mph. Ok so heres the deal, i launched between 2600 rpm and 2800 rpm, and shifted at redline, keeping in third all the way through the traps. I only spun a little once, otherwise, i got some bad wheel hop. I was expecting 14s, as someone once noted they did a 14.46 at 95 with a chip and intake. Not only that, but it seems my mph was too low for the mods i have. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance
