Well the motor is stock other than a JimC chip, and the car failed emissions horribly. CO was almost 4 times the limit at 403 ppm. I just got the car so I'm not that familiar with it, but does anyone have any ideas for a simple fix? I hear other people passing emissions with the same JimC chip so I doubt it's that. Is there a mixture adjustment or something I can turn down temporarily for the test? The car runs great but it must be running too rich for the tests liking? Thanks for any help!

My car barely failed it's last smog check too. All stock except for a JC chip. Our cars really do need to be driven hard before a smog test. It does take a long time for a four cylinder to properly heat up both cats.
