Well, that right their could solve my problem... As I think i mentioned earlier - I dont know a thing about cars mechanically. Sure enough I was looking at the big fan that you see in the engine compartment...

I will have to look where you mentioned (between the kidney grills).

The whole reason for this post, is that I had a whole coolant system put in, and accoring to the temp gauge it still is running on the hot side (past half mark).


First things first. Which fan are you referring to? The one that you can see in the engine compartment? That is not the auxiliary fan.

The auxiliary fan can only be seen if you crouch down in front of the car and look through the kidney grills. That's the low speed high speed fan. The other one is mechanical and is always on. (some of our Euro brothers w/o Air conditioning do not have this fan)
