I too am looking at putting a cam in my car. I am going to do some more research, but right now I plan on putting an Evo III 272 in it. Keep in mind that you will want to upgrade the valve springs at the same time. For Evo III valve springs they are 27.25ea. Which is $439. Mitch Herman(Motorsport Imports) has Grp N ones for $499. He also has the best price on the Evo II or III cam that I have seen ($550) I will probably go this route. Another place you may want to talk to would be Dynospot racing because they offer a 264, 268, and 272. They have a dyno chart of what the 264 does on a 2.3 and it gives it around 15hp. You may want to do away with the cam gear I have a new one sitting around and dont know whether to put it in w/ a cam or not. Haven't looked into it this far yet. Be interesting to see what people with cams have to say.
